On the August 11 episode of WWE SmackDown, Jey appeared for the first time since WWE SummerSlam. There, Jimmy Uso turned on him and cost him his match against Roman Reigns.
Reigns came to the ring on Friday night, and he called out Jimmy. Jimmy made it clear that he didn’t want anything from Reigns, and his actions didn’t have anything to do with “The Tribal Chief.” Jey came down and demanded to know Jimmy did what he did at WWE SummerSlam.
Jimmy explained that he was scared he would use Jey, and he didn’t want him to get corrupted by the power the win would have given him. Jey initially refused to hit Jimmy, who walked away. Instead, he kicked Reigns and brawled with Sikoa. He fought “The Tribal Chief” off and dropped him with a Spear.
Jey proceeded to call Jimmy back down and blast him with a superkick. To end the show, Jey stated that he was out of The Bloodline, SmackDown, and WWE as a whole.
WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
