Kim Kardashian's SKIMS shows active support for COVID-19 causes by launching a line of face masks that sold out just within hours after its debut. The brand has also donated 10,000 face masks and $1 million to organizations helping the front liners and vulnerable families during this COVID-19 crisis--Baby2Baby, Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, Good + Foundation, and the National Domestic Workers Alliance.

The SKIMS one-size-fits-all seamless masks come in five nude shades: Sand, Clay, Cocoa, Onyx, and Sienna. It's one of the latest addition to stylish masks that people can't seem to get enough of.  With stocks always running out, it's impossible to get a hold of one of these $8 face masks lately. But it's actually very easy to DIY these cute stretchy face masks with the following Pinterest guides.

Using Just An Old T-Shirt

You can create the same stretchy SKIMS face mask using only a nude-colored knit cotton or woven cotton T-shirt. Yes, you don't need anything else. A little patience and creativity are enough to succeed in this project!

Since CDC recommends 2-layer cloth face covers, just fold your T-shirt material in half, put your mask pattern there, and start cutting with a pair of scissors or on a Cricut. You can get face mask patterns for different ages here.

Basically, you just have to cut the face mask pattern and also cut an earhole that's just right for your size. After that, twist the ear loops once before wearing them to make sure it's a secure fit.

Using A Pair Of Old Leggings

The leggings' fabric is an excellent alternative for the 97% nylon and 3% spandex composition of the SKIMS face masks.  You can also pick a pair with some fun designs for extra flare. Using the pattern you can get here, cut two pieces of the fabric from the pattern placed on the fold of the fabric.

Make sure they can be stretched to fit the entire lower half of your face. Then cut slits in the sides of these masks as marked in the pattern. You can also add a filter between the fabrics. Twisting the ear loops is also advised for a better fit.

Using A Bandana/Other Cloth And Hair Ties/Rubber Bands

Large napkin cloths or bandanas can be used to create fabric face masks that are as breathable as the SKIMS face masks. Using hair ties or rubber bands, you can skip the ear hole-slitting which could go wrong if you're no precise cloth cutter.

As seen in the picture, lay the bandana on the table and fold the top and bottom until they meet in the middle to create a double layer. Then insert the left and right ends of the cloth into the hair ties or rubber bands. Fold the two sides inwards and tuck one side to the other to secure the inside of your finished product.
