Earlier last week, MTV reported that that producer extrodinaire Jim Jonsin was scheduled to collaborate with 50 Cent for the first time. Known for crafting chart topping hits for the likes of Beyonce and Lil Wayne, these two were bound to link up.
Yesterday afternoon (Apr. 12) VIBE got the chance to chop it up with Jim about working with Fif, along with his other projects. To our surpise, Jonsin said his first time working with the G-Unit Boss resulted in a new single for an unexpected artist.
“It went really well — we actually cut a song for Nicole Scherzinger and 50 did two verses on it, and I gave him some music for some future sessions, ” Jonsin told VIBE on collaborating with 50.
“We exchanged phone numbers and knocked out that song in the matter of like an hour. So now were scheduling some more time to work together. So we didn’t get too into detail but he was cool as hell. I liked working with him. It’s a song called “Right There.” I think its going to be [Nicole’s] first single.”
